A little over a month ago Jared's mom was able to come into town for education week and spend a couple weekends with us. We loved that she got to spend some good quality time with Preston and see what he is really like when he is in his own element instead of after traveling and being in a strange place. He finally learned to open up to her. The best was seeing that even after she had been back home a couple weeks he saw pictures of Grandma and was excited to see her.
I wasn't very good about getting my camera out while Grandma was here but we had to get at least one picture of these two even if it was just with my phone.
We did a lot of visiting with Tammy's mom and siblings who are in the area. We did make sure to take one Saturday to take her up in the mountains for what turned into a little harder hike than anticipated.
Testing the water.
This water was straight from the melted snow on the mountain. Freezing! but that did not deter Preston from playing in it for a good 20-30 minutes.
Little boys are very good at splashing. Grandma was a good sport in getting wet so she could keep our little boy safe.
When he finally let us get him out we had to through rocks and watch them splash.
